Health is wealth

Health is not just the absence of disease or weakness, but a
state of physical, mental and social adaptation. Among all the factors that affect health, lifestyle is the most controllable and influential factor. Everyone has the responsibility to maintain their own and others' health, and a healthy lifestyle can maintain and promote their own health.

A healthy lifestyle mainly includes four aspects: a reasonable diet, moderate exercise, smoking cessation and alcohol restriction, and psychological balance, and these four aspects also cancel the four cornerstones of a healthy lifestyle. Cultivating and adhering to healthy living habits and behaviors can effectively prevent and control chronic diseases.

1)      Reasonable diet: Choose food reasonably to improve people's nutrition and health status to reduce or prevent the occurrence of chronic diseases. Eat as many kinds of food as possible every day, mainly cereals, with a combination of coarse and fine; eat more vegetables, fruits and potatoes to maintain normal intestinal function, improve immunity, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension. Eat dairy products, soybeans or their products every day; eat a moderate amount of fish, poultry, eggs and lean meat; reduce cooking oil and eat a light and low-salt diet.

2)      Moderate exercise: strengthen physical activity, develop the habit of regular exercise, and move more in daily life. Physical activity can include housework, transportation, work and leisure time exercise. Active physical activity has many benefits for health, including reducing the risk of premature death, reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as hypertension and stroke, and also helping to regulate psychological balance, eliminate stress, relieve symptoms such as anxiety and depression, and improve sleep.

3)      Quit smoking: Smoking is a major risk factor for the onset and death of many diseases such as lung cancer, chronic respiratory diseases, coronary heart disease, and stroke. Even if you stop smoking for only 20 minutes, the body can receive corresponding health effects, such as a decrease in heart rate, blood pressure and pulse to normal levels. Quitting smoking before the age of 35 can avoid 90% of heart disease caused by smoking. Quitting smoking before the age of 59 will only make the probability of death within 15 years half that of those who continue to smoke. Even if you quit smoking after the age of 60, the mortality rate of lung cancer is still much lower than that of those who continue to smoke.

4)      Limit alcohol consumption: Excessive drinking, especially long-term excessive drinking, has multiple health hazards, such as increasing the risk of gout, cardiovascular disease and certain cancers. Long-term excessive drinking can also lead to alcohol dependence, addiction, acute and chronic alcohol poisoning, alcoholic fatty liver and alcoholic cirrhosis and other serious health problems                            Psychological balance: Mental health is a state of good adaptation to life and the core of health. Mental health and physical health influence, promote and cause each other.

Finally, a jingle is used to deepen the impression:Modern lifestyles have changed, and chronic diseases are common;

Healthy life can be avoided, and the four cornerstones ensure safety.

Follow the guidelines for a reasonable diet and exercise moreQuitting smoking and limiting alcohol consumption is the key, and mental balance should be optimistic.
